Now that the new event date is confirmed—Sunday, June 1st, 2025—the much-anticipated Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam Edition is almost here. So, is your chance to redeem that free bonus ticket.

When the February edition was postponed due to venue and safety concerns, Swangz Avenue didn’t just issue an apology. Instead, they promised to honour every fan’s support by giving each ticket holder an additional ticket for free. This goodwill gesture was made official on February 23rd, and now it’s time to follow through.

Who Qualifies for a Free Ticket?

Redemption depends on the type of ticket you originally purchased:

Early Bird Tickets (UGX 70,000):
Each ticket earns 1 extra ticket.

Gate Tickets (UGX 100,000):
Each ticket earns 1 extra ticket.

Group Tickets (UGX 210,000):
Each group ticket (admits 3 people) is treated as 1 unit and earns 1 extra ticket.

VVIP Tickets (UGX 200,000):

  • Bought 1? You get 1 extra.
  • Bought 2 or more? You get the same number of extra tickets as purchased.

How to Redeem Your Free Ticket

Redemption is easy and happens at the gate on June 1st. Simply:

  1. Bring your proof of purchase from February (email or SMS confirmation).
  2. Present it at the gate during check-in.
  3. Walk in with your plus one, absolutely free.

This edition of Roast and Rhyme won’t be at Jahazi Pier, but it’s bringing the same vibrant energy to a new venue — the Lugogo Hockey Grounds. Centrally located and easy to access, it’s the perfect spot to host Uganda’s favourite lifestyle festival.
