Swangz Avenue has officially announced the postponement of the highly anticipated Roast & Rhyme – Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam Edition, which was scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo.
According to a statement issued by Swangz Avenue, the decision to postpone the event was made due to unforeseen challenges with the venue and concerns about the safety of revelers. Despite their readiness to host another unforgettable experience, the organizers emphasized that ensuring the well-being of attendees remains their top priority.
The organizers have assured attendees that a new date will be announced soon, as they work with all involved parties to secure the best possible alternative.

Similarly, all purchased tickets remain valid for the rescheduled event, meaning ticket holders do not need to make any repurchases.
As a gesture of appreciation, all ticket holders will receive an additional free ticket to bring a friend to the rescheduled event. Swangz Avenue has apologized for the unexpected change and expressed gratitude for the patience, love, and continued support from Roast & Rhyme fans.
Looking ahead, Roast & Rhyme has built a reputation as one of Uganda’s most beloved music and food festivals, blending live music performances with a unique outdoor grilling experience. The Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam Edition was set to bring an exciting mix of reggae rhythms and delicious grilled meats, making the postponement a disappointment for many fans.
However, with a promise to return bigger and better, attendees can expect an improved festival experience when the new date is announced.
