Ugandan songbird Spice Diana, real name Namukwaya Hajara Diana, serenaded Serena Hotel on Friday night as she celebrated a decade in the music industry. Despite earlier fears of a low turnout, “Ten Years of Spice” was a sold-out event that showed her growth, resilience, and undeniable star power.
By dusk, revellers had accessed the premium location alongside celebrities and various public figures including including the Buganda Katikkiro and Charles Peter Mayiga.
Known for her jaw-dropping fashion sense, the Siri regular hitmaker didn’t disappoint as she jumped onto the stage in a glittering silver and gold outfit. This was the first of numerous outfits all night long as Spice Diana performed her hit songs including Ndi Mu Love, Bajikona, Omala, Twookya, and Omusheshe. With the audience singing along to her performance, she invited other stars like Pallaso and Fik Gaza to join her on stage.
Other stars including Fik Fameica, Nince Henry, Triplets Ghetto Kids, Anko Ronie, Pallaso, and Stabua Natoro performed As the night progressed. Similarly, Karole Kasita, Big Eye Starboss, Martha Mukisa, Chozen Blood, and others were among the star-studded attendees who added glamour to the evening.
The Ten Years of Spice concert was more than just a celebration; it reflected Spice Diana’s journey, resilience, and dedication over the past decade. From her humble beginnings to becoming one of Uganda’s top female artists, her story is one of hard work and passion.
